Free bird Logo

Here are some initial ideas:

And here is what I decided on:

I’ve never really been a fan of logos that use a picture of the animal that is potentially being eaten in the product, so I’ve decided to leave out the chicken image and just go with the egg. I also wanted to add the feeling of “freedom” so I added sunbeams and the sun poking over a hill, which conveniently ends up looking like the yolk of the egg. And the wheat just represents the fact that other crops are grown at Freebird Farms as well.

The sunrise also reminds me of the Obama logo! Was there a secret political persuasion tucked into your logo? šŸ™‚

Happy to have found logo a week – first I went to and that wasn’t it. It’s all about sports teams and I though, is Karen pulling my leg?

Anyone, I like your egg logos! Leggo my logo!

I think subconsciously I am influenced by many things I have seen, but wow, you’re right. It’s hard to realize these things when you don’t get any outside opinions before posting them. Now I feel like a fraud! Oh well, maybe I can pitch it to Michelle O.
